He earned an MBA from the London Business School. He has over 20 years experience as a finance director in the oilfield services, logistics and media sectors, where he was involved in a variety of strategic M&A transactions. Christian began his career in the venture capital department of a large German bank. He then took over the position as Managing Director of a mid-cap tooling company serving the steel industry to restructure the business.
After a successful turnaround, he joined the M&A consultancy firm InterFinanz in early 1997 where he was Managing Director and Partner from 2000 until the end of 2008. In this function he was in charge of the increasing internationalisation of the advisory services offered by InterFinanz and played a substantial role in founding a leading international partnership of independent M&A advisors where he was made sole Managing Director upon foundation.
