Francis has acquired extensive experience across the construction industry over a 40 year career. Prior to announcing his retirement in 2010 from the main board at Cyril Sweett Group plc, the international construction and property consultancy, Francis had spent 19 years as Senior Partner or Chairman of the Group. During this time Cyril Sweett was sold to Chesterton in 1994 and then the subject of a management buy-out in 1998, was floated on AIM in 2007, enjoyed a rapid international expansion and acquired 12 UK and international businesses.
Francis currently chairs an architectural practice and advises 4 other consultancies, in addition to advising Livingstone’s Business Services sector team with specific focus on the Consultancy sector.
