Phillip McCreanor, a seasoned deal maker with 10 years’ corporate finance experience, has joined the firm as a Director, having previously led Deloitte’s Industrial Products team globally and having led transactions for corporate and private equity clients in Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Australasia.

His recent career highlights include the disposal of JR Crompton to Glatfelter, the US specialty paper company; the £860m disposal of the LINPAC Group to Montagu Private Equity; the £170m disposal of LINPAC Containers to DS Smith plc; and the acquisition of the Benelux business of King Distribution for Ergon Capital. In total, the Phillip’s team completed transactions with a deal value in excess of €2.5 billion over the last three years.

Phillip’s mandate at Livingstone is to build on his extensive experience in the Industrial Products sector, which complements the firm’s significant existing credentials. Phillip will also be an active participant in G-Pack, the cross-border Packaging team within Global M&A, the international partnership of independent M&A houses co-founded by Livingstone in 1993.

Jeremy Furniss, partner at Livingstone comments, “We are delighted to welcome Phillip into the fold. It’s a powerful endorsement of our business that such a highly respected member of the Deloittes M&A team should choose to work with us.”
