Livingstone sells ABI to LGV Capital

Livingstone, the UK’s leading corporate finance advisory firm, announces the sale of ABI (UK) Group Ltd to LGV Capital Ltd  and management .

ABI, based in Beverley, Yorkshire, employs approximately 300 people and is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of caravan holiday homes, selling to all major caravan park operations.

Livingstone Partners was retained by the shareholders, including Barclay Ventures and marketed the business to a selected list of private equity sponsors in a competitive process.

LGV’s sector experience, determination, flexibility and strong support for the existing management team led by Chief Executive, Mel Cooper, and including Richard Jones, Dean Hague, Paul Clackstone and Stephen Hardaker, made them the ideal choice for the shareholders and the business.
