Ryan joined Livingstone at its inception in 2007. He brings over five years of M&A, capital raising, and financial restructuring experience across a variety of sectors including consumer, healthcare, and industrial. Prior to Livingstone, Ryan worked for two years as an Analyst at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. in Chicago and in the workout group of Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services.

Neil Collen - Partner (Livingstone Madrid)

After graduating from Durham University, Neil joined his family business, and was actively involved in the sale of that groups of companies in a cross-border deal. Neil has lived in Spain since 1985, and working in M&A since 1991. He was the founding partner of what is now Livingstone Spain. He has led deals in a variety of sectors, including construction products, industrial manufacturing, transport and logistics and food many of which have been international in nature. He has been responsible for a significant amount of leverage buy-outs. Neil currently heads the Retail and Leisure sector at Livingstone Spain. He speaks at several prestigious conferences in Spain and also teaches at the Instituto de Empresa, one of Europe's leading business schools.

After graduating from Manchester University with a first class honors degree, Simon qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in London.
Since joining Livingstone Partners in 1994, Simon has led over 75 deals across a variety of sectors, acting for owner managers, corporate and private equity houses.
Whilst Simon co-heads the Consumer sector team, he continues to be actively involved in the Human Capital, Healthcare, and Technology sectors.

Johannes Dupke - Consultant (Livingstone Düsseldorf)

Johannes studied Business Administration at the University of Cologne, the Helsinki School of Economics and the University of Oulu in Finland. In his studies he was focused on finance and corporate finance and graduated in 2009.
He completed various internships at investment banks and consultancies in Germany and abroad. He also gained practical insights on a project for a trade and services conglomerate.
Due to his academic and professional record Johannes has a broad set of international experiences.

Paul studied Law with French Law and Language at the University of East Anglia in Norwich and spent a year in France at l’Université Jean Moulin in Lyon. Upon graduating Paul joined James Cowper in Reading where he worked as an Auditor and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003. The following year Paul transferred to the firm’s Corporate Finance department where he worked on a variety of transactions for unquoted companies across a range of sectors. Paul joined Livingstone in January 2007.

Christian began his career in the venture capital department of a large German bank. He then took over the position as Managing Director of a mid-cap tooling company serving the steel industry to restructure the business.
After a successful turnaround, he joined the M&A consultancy firm InterFinanz in early 1997 where he was Managing Director and Partner from 2000 until the end of 2008. In this function he was in charge of the increasing internationalisation of the advisory services offered by InterFinanz and played a substantial role in founding a leading international partnership of independent M&A advisors where he was made sole Managing Director upon foundation.
Christian is co-founder and shareholder of Livingstone Germany.
He has expert knowledge in the automotive, electrical engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering and tooling, food & beverages, textiles, construction materials and sanitary industries.

After completing a BSc in Psychology at Teesside University, Michelle went on to complete an MSc in Evolutionary Psychology at Liverpool University.
Previously a business analyst at PPM Ventures, part of the Prudential, Michelle joined Livingstone in 2004 to work primarily as an analyst across Leisure and Marketing Services sectors. She has since moved into a Business Development role, working closely with team members to create deal and investment opportunities for Livingstone's clients.

During his Bachelor’s degree in International Financial Management at the European School of Finance Nürtingen, the California State University Fullerton in the US and at the Ajou University in Korea, he gained expertise in financial markets and corporate finance. Whilst attending the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, for his Masters of Finance in 2008 and 2009, he specialized in Investments and International Business Finance.
He completed internships with an investment bank and an insurance company and was able to gain practical experience in the field of international acquisitions.
His analysis of the influence of the international venture capital valuation guidelines on the valuation process was published in a known journal.

After graduating from Durham University in 1999, Christopher qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in London. During his five years at Ernst & Young, he gained extensive experience of the financial services industry, spending the last two years working in Mergers & Acquisitions.
Christopher joined Livingstone in 2005, and has since advised on numerous company disposals, acquisitions and private equity backed management buy-outs in the Consumer and Business Services sectors. Christopher is a member of the Consumer team and within that he leads the firm’s Retail sector team.

Jenny qualified as a Chartered Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers after joining the firm from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. During her time at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Jenny gained extensive experience in the insurance industry while completing the American Chartered Financial Analyst exams for global investment professionals.
In 2006, Jenny joined Livingstone after relocating to London and works across the firm's broad spectrum of sector specializations, with a particular emphasis on retail.

Eva earned a degree in Business Administration (Administración y Dirección de Empresas) from Universidad de Valencia, and she has a Master in Quantitative Finance. Eva started her career in a family company before she joined Bancaja working in the structuring of capital market financing transactions. In June 2006 she started working in the financial department of an important real estate group structuring the financing of transactions. Since she joined Livingstone Partners in October 2007, Eva has been working in a wide variety of sectors, focusing on the industrial sector. She was named Director in 2010 after she actively participated in the completion of a debt restructuring transaction.

After his Ph.D. studies at the University of Mannheim André started his career in an International Law Firm and continued from 2005 to 2007 in the Transaction Tax department of Ernst & Young Frankfurt as a certified Tax Advisor.
From 2007 until 2009 he worked with Investkredit Bank AG, Frankfurt Branch where he established the business in France within the leverage finance team. He evaluated and was involved in a wide range of financing transactions and gained several restructuring experience. Besides, he held a teaching assignment of the University of Applied Sciences, Frankfurt.

David leads Livingstone’s Private Equity practice and directs client engagements, specializing in the Consumer sector. With ten years experience in investment banking, he has extensive cross-border and financial buyer expertise. Prior to co-founding Livingstone USA, he was a Managing Director at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. and spent four years at William Blair & Co. Previously, he was General Counsel to the Illinois Development Finance Authority and an advisor to Illinois Governor Jim Edgar.

Harsha Wickremasinghe - Research (Livingstone London)

After graduating from the University of Surrey with a BSc (Hons) Retail Management and MSc International Management, Harsha worked as a retail analyst for Verdict Research, a market research consultancy. During his time at Verdict, Harsha gained wide exposure to the sector and developed a particular focus on multi-channel and home related markets. Harsha joined Livingstone in 2007 to work as an analyst in the Leisure and Consumer team, with an emphasis on retail.
