Shane Redding joins Livingstone

Direct marketing specialist Shane Redding has joined Livingstone’s panel of industry advisers. This news comes quick on the heels of Livingstone’s latest deal in the Marketing Services sector and signals the team’s commitment to the industry, having completed five deals in the last 10 months.

Shane has over 24 years experience in the sector, previously working for Mardev, a division of Reed Elsevier plc. Her other board roles have included LBM, Draftworldwide, Symphony Direct Communications, Ibis Information Services, the DMA and FEDMA. Currently, Shane provides strategic direct marketing advice through her company Think Direct. She was recently awarded an honorary fellowship of the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) and is the current chair of the IDM’s b2b council. Livingstone has developed a strong track record in the Marketing Services sector. In 2006, the firm sold ICM, the leading UK independent market research business to Creston plc for just under £40m. Already in 2007, the team has announced the sale of MoonRiver, parent company of ION Group, to Arvato Services, part of Bertelsmann Group. MoonRiver provides custom campaign management services to leading blue-chip clients, including Landrover and Nissan.

Shane’s new role at Livingstone will involve the application of her strong operational experience and industry contacts to the team’s deal execution skills as Livingstone consolidates its knowledge of the Marketing Services sector.

Shane joins a number of respected peers from the Marketing Services industry on Livingstone’s advisory panel, including Colin Lloyd, a former Chief Executive of the Direct Marketing Association, and Simon Roncoroni, a ‘founding father’ of the UK’s call centre industry.
